Victorian Government response to the 'Breed Specific Laws' enquiry, which basically refers to the enquiry’s recommendation to remove the current muzzling requirements for pet greyhounds. They have said they would consider it as part of broader welfare considerations for greyhounds.

GRV's (Greyhound Racing Victoria) 2016 Annual Report - Which includes a Welfare report stating that "In 2015-16, 3,012 greyhounds registered in Victoria were euthanased. GRV considers this figure completely unacceptable and is committed to ensuring Victorian greyhounds associated with the sport are re-homed." GSN also hope that GRV will actively pursue its initiatives to reduce this euthanasia number.
