Your donation provides an essential contribution to saving these beautiful dogs' lives.
Rescuing each Greyhound costs around $800 in veterinary (de-sexing, microchipping, dentals, vaccinations, worm and flea treatments) and other costs associated with rehoming. GSN is a small volunteer based group relying on our fund-raising efforts, donations and grants. Our rescue work is restricted by our funding capacity and every week we have to turn away greyhounds, despite knowing their likely fate.

If you want to help in other ways, you could volunteer at events that Greyhound Safety Net attend, you could donate your skills, or goods for our stalls.

Bequest to Greyhound Safety Net
When you are preparing your will, you might like to include a bequest to a charity. Greyhound Safety Net Incorporated is a registered charity which relies on the generosity of donors and our volunteers who raise much needed funds, to help many greyhounds make their way from the kennel to the couch. A bequest to GSN in your will, no matter how small, will help us save more of these beautiful dogs.
Suggested wording for your will:
“I give to Greyhound Safety Net Incorporated ABN 85 681 211 050 (GSN), after payment of all my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses and all duties, taxes and charges payable on my estate at my death:
The sum of $[insert amount];
OR
[insert amount]% of my estate;
OR
The residue of my Estate;
I declare that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper officer of GSN will be sufficient discharge for my Trustees”
